To ensure accurate and reliable results, ISHI has described best practices for assays used in routine seed health testing, using the collective expertise and experience of its members. The ISHI methods follow ISHI best practices. The best practices are intended to provide general guidance to laboratories developing and using seed health tests including the number and types of controls necessary for a robust seed health test.
